With regard to CD 7, I agree generally that it makes sense to keep the Western and Southwestern Richmond suburbs together, and to include the counties along I-64 toward Charlottesville, as those areas share many communities of interest. However, I don't think it makes sense to include the only other significant metropolitan area along I-64 West--Charlottesville & suburban Albemarle--in CD7. Also, the portion of Richmond west of the Powhite Parkway up to the James River should be included as a community of interest, in lieu of including Charlottesville, Albemarle, and the areas north of Albemarle included in the map.
